Bob helped me through some very difficult times, and I believe strongly in lifting women up - not only toward equality, but so they can shine as examples for others. Rick’s Place has the potential to re-empower women in many meaningful ways. It is a worthy effort, and I will help however I can. I have experienced abuse and marginalization myself. Finding the courage to rebuild a life after being pushed down or cast aside can be a monumental journey. Learning to find your voice and believe you deserve a full life is not easy.

I am currently supporting the transition and set up of the new land in Arizona. I also have a special connection with animals and run a small pet-sitting business. As the kennels get up and running, I’ll be there to help care for the animals. When it comes to construction, you may find me sitting in the shade - but I can certainly make lemonade and sandwiches!

I’m a longtime friend of Bob’s, and I believe in his journey through life. Our paths have crossed and rejoined in many ways over the years—as close friends’ paths often do—and at one time, we were a couple. Bob has been a steady source of support for me, and I hope I have been the same for him.
