Rick’s Place ~ Spirit of Condor is a women-centered, off-grid community rooted in connection, self-reliance, and mutual support. It is a place where women come together to build not only sustainable homes, but also meaningful relationships, shared knowledge, and a strong sense of belonging.
Through hands-on training and guidance in approved natural and sustainable building techniques, women are empowered to design and construct their own living spaces, with the opportunity to live on and care for the land. This collaborative environment fosters both independence and interdependence, where each individual contributes to and benefits from the collective strength of the community.
Rick’s Place honors the wisdom of ancient animistic spiritual practices, offering opportunities for participants to deepen their connection to nature, themselves, and one another in ways that support personal growth and empowerment.
Committed to compassionate stewardship, Rick’s Place also partners with local animal welfare organizations to provide a safe, nurturing space for foster dogs as they await their forever homes—extending the spirit of care beyond the human community.
As stewards of the land, the community is dedicated to restoring and preserving the natural environment, working in harmony with the earth to return it, as much as possible, to its original state.
