About Me
I’m proud to serve as Treasurer of Rick’s Place Spirit of Condor, an organization that is deeply personal to me and my family.
Rick was my uncle, and before he passed away, he expressed a wish that the money from his estate be used to help women. My dad, Bob—Rick’s brother—has taken that wish and turned it into something truly meaningful.
My dad is one of the most talented and resourceful people I know. He’s an incredible craftsman, builder, problem-solver, and what our family has always considered a real-life MacGyver. Rick’s Place brings together his skills and Rick’s desire to help women in a unique way: creating a place in Arizona where women who want a simpler, more independent lifestyle can build tiny homes of their own and learn to live more self-sufficiently and largely off the grid.
When my dad shared his vision for Rick’s Place with me, I knew I wanted to be part of it. I love that it honors my uncle’s wishes while giving my dad the opportunity to use the talents he has spent a lifetime developing to make a difference in other people’s lives.
Professionally, I am a CPA and Managing Partner of Eccezion, an accounting and consulting firm. Serving as Treasurer allows me to contribute my own experience and skills to help build a strong financial foundation for the organization and ensure that Rick’s legacy is carried forward responsibly and thoughtfully.
For me, Rick’s Place is about more than tiny homes. It’s about independence, opportunity, self-sufficiency, and giving women the tools and support to create a life and a place they can truly call their own. I’m honored to be part of bringing that vision to life.
